In comparison to current handling equipment such as SPMT movers and crawler cranes significant savings can be made as well as increased  operation efficiency. Wheelbase from 7,5 to 12m selectable – depending on model – hydraulically movable chassis.

As always – modular design and quick exchange power & supply modules. This is very beneficial for customers that frequently need to move the Reach Stacker eg. for the setup of wind farms at different locations.

TELESCOPIC WHEELBASE

You can change the wheelbase (length) of the Reach Stacker according to your needs. More length means more capacity. Less length means more manoeuvrability. Depending on model up to 7 wheelbases and Load capacities in one machine.

SIDE MOUNTED TECHNOLOGY UNITS

Conventional Reach Stacker:

  • Transmission and Engine are located below the cabin in between the frame
  • High noise emissions
  • Difficult to exchange or maintain
  • Increasing downtimes and costs


Versatile Reach Stacker:

Due to our innovative hydrostatic drive, we don’t need engine and transmission to be connected directly – therefore we can separate them.

Engine, radiator, batteries, hydraulic oil tank are all in one Engine Box mounted on the side of the machine, easily accessible from all sides, easily exchangeable within two hours.

Fuel tank (up to 2000 liters) and electronic compartment are located on the other side of the machine in our Supply Box.

POWERTRAIN

Conventional Reach Stackers use a torque converter with downstream, mechanical automatic transmission, directly flange-mounted to the engine, maximum efficiency is reached at about 2100 rpm.

Due to the conversion of mechanical energy into hydraulic energy such a power train loses about 15% efficiency, even more at high speed.

Instead our hydrostatic drive uses variable hydraulic pumps that only require 1800 rpm and through our intelligent software we only use as much power as is required.
